Sudan will host Ghana in the second leg of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers at the February Martyrs Stadium on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
The East African side will need to avoid defeat to stay within striking distance of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations.
On the other hand, Ghana needs a win to get back on track as its chances of qualifying for the tournament currently appear slim.
The Black Stars did not achieve any wins in three matches in the series, as they tied two and lost one, while Sudan won one, tied one and lost one in its two matches.
Ghana occupies third place with two points in Group Six, and Angola leads the group with nine points, followed by Sudan in second place with four points, and Niger is in last place with one point.
A defeat or draw for the Black Stars is likely to reduce their chances of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
