Demi Moore is revamping a casual summer piece for the fall red carpet. While the Substance actress also looks at home in a romper as a menswear-inspired power suit, she made a compelling case for fall denim while stepping out at the Hamptons International Film Festival on October 13. Accompanied by her little chihuahua, Pilaf, Moore made a denim skirt look surprisingly chic — and perfect for fall — during the photo shoot.
The Phantom alum has been leaning into her inner style chameleon while promoting her horror film The Substance, and Monday was no different. The star went for shades of gray with a denim skirt, which looked perfect for the season thanks to the moody color palette, mid-length cut, and wide silhouette at the bottom. Combined with its fabric — a material typically worn in summer — the skirt’s unfinished hem and paneled design added a slightly casual note to the statement piece.

Other than the denim skirt, Moore went completely monochromatic with a black lace jacket that featured shoulder pads and pockets on the front, as well as black satin pointed-toe pumps that were accessorized with a delicate ankle strap. She added some major sparkle to her look with giant diamond drop earrings, a set of intricate gold bracelets, and a gold necklace with a megawatt diamond pendant.
The actress relied on her distinctive aesthetic look for her appearance on the red carpet, where she styled her straight black hair in a straight style and parted in the middle. Matte berry lips, subtly smoky eye shadow, and sculpted cheeks took her look firmly into fall territory.

Showing off her penchant for fresh menswear, she paired black wide-leg pants with a unique black wide-bottom jacket in a peplum-inspired design. Moore accessorized her power suit with a white button-up shirt with a turtleneck, oversized tortoiseshell glasses, and black heels with a deep V-shaped design at the front.
