The potential Cy Young winner from the Braves continues to collect accolades for one of his best seasons, greatly strengthening his Hall of Fame case. If you use JAWS, you’ll find that Sale falls into the Hall of Famers range, but he probably needs a few more seasons to solidify his spot in the Hall. He’s well below average for Hall of Fame pitchers, so he has some work to do. However, adding a Cy Young to his resume, which somehow doesn’t already include the award, can only help. If it weren’t for injuries, he likely would already be considered a future Hall of Famer.
