In New Hampshire, Vance says the Trump campaign is "expanding the map."

Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance expects Trump to win New Hampshire on Election Day, telling voters there that the campaign “expands the map” compared to previous presidential races.

“I believe we will turn New Hampshire red in two days and make Donald Trump the next president of the United States,” the Ohio senator and Trump’s running mate told a crowd in Derry on Sunday evening.

“I have to be honest, a few months ago, I wasn’t necessarily sure that we would be the day before the last full day of campaigning, in the great state of New Hampshire. But I think this suggests that what we’re doing is expanding the map,” Vance continued. “We are bringing new voters to this coalition and for people in New Hampshire who want to live freely, we are the only ticket in town. Donald J. Trump is the only president for you.”

A profit margin of just 0.37% in 2016 “was the difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump,” Vance said.

The state turned blue that year, then in 2020, President Biden defeated Trump in New Hampshire 52.9 to 45.5%.

“I think what’s different this time is that over the last four years we’ve witnessed the astonishing failures of Kamala Harris’ rule and the way it has impacted people in this great state as much as anyone else in the union,” Vance said Sunday. .

“I’ve already heard, since I’ve been in New Hampshire, about the devastating toll of Kamala Harris’ open borders, and about the migrant crisis that has made its way hundreds of miles from the southern US border, here for New Hampshire,” Vance added. New Hampshire families who can’t afford groceries, who can’t afford a home, I think our message in just two days to Kamala Harris will be very simple and my running mate loves that. To say that, you’re fired, go back to San Francisco, where you belong, we don’t want you in the White House.”
