Mikel Arteta made just one change to the side that played Newcastle at the weekend, with Ben White returning to face Inter Milan.

After not starting the last two matches, White returns to the right-back position, with Jurian Tempere continuing at left-back. Gabriel and William Saliba form the central defensive partnership.

Declan Rice is completely absent due to a foot injury, so Thomas Partey returns to midfield, along with Mikel Merino and Leandro Trossard.

Kai Havertz starts in attack with captain Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli on the flanks.

After missing the last 12 games with an ankle injury, Martin Odegaard is fit enough to return to the bench. Our substitutes also include 18-year-old defender Josh Robinson and 21-year-old striker Nathan Butler Oyedeji. Both are yet to represent the first team.

The visitors made five changes to the side that beat Venezia 1-0 at the weekend. Top scorer Lautaro Martinez starts up front but former Gunner Henrikh Mkhitaryan is on the bench, alongside Italian internationals Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella.
