Far from the shell of isolation, North Korean soldiers in Russia had unfettered access to the Internet and were watching pornography, according to Financial Times journalist Gideon Rachman.
βA normally reliable source told me that North Korean soldiers deployed to Russia have never had unfettered access to the Internet before. As a result, they devour pornography.β
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Umarov confirmed in an interview with South Korean broadcaster KBS on November 5 that Ukrainian forces were involved in combat with North Korean soldiers for the first time.
But he explained that these were not large-scale operations but rather a series of small skirmishes, without specifying the location of the fighting.
Can these skirmishes be considered the official beginning of North Korea’s involvement in the war? Yes, I think so. βIt was clashes,β Umarov said.
Earlier, it was reported that a group of 200 North Korean military defectors currently residing in South Korea are seeking to move to Ukraine to engage in psychological warfare against their former comrades.
