Rhiannon Lewis, who works as a receptionist at a local newspaper, has faced her fair share of trauma throughout her life. She feels frustrated at being ignored by her family and co-workers and envies the success achieved by the bully at her school.

But a series of personal tragedies spark a violent impulse in Rhiannon that shakes the sleepy town of Carncham.

A story synopsis from Sky says: “In this twisty, dark comedy thriller, Ella Purnell plays Rhiannon: a quiet scythe-flower who develops a vengeful and liberating taste for murder…

Rhiannon Lewis doesn’t make much of an impression – people pass her on the street without a second glance. She’s constantly being passed over for a promotion at work, the man she loves won’t commit, her sister is living her life abroad with her husband and her father is really sick. So far, so.

“But when everything in her life is turned upside down, Rhiannon is pushed to the edge. She explodes. Suddenly the locket flower is gone, and in her place is a young woman capable of anything.”

“Rhiannon’s life is transformed when she steps into a new, intoxicating power, but can she keep her killer’s secret?”
