The Swiss phase of the 2024 World Championship is where the best teams from around the world face off in a series of top-flight matches to determine who will advance to the knockout stage.
The Swiss format is a tournament system where participants are paired based on their current win-loss record. It is designed to ensure that teams with similar records play against each other, resulting in more competitive and balanced matches throughout the tournament.

From the second round onwards, teams are divided based on their win-loss records from the previous rounds. Teams with similar records play each other.
The top three teams with three wins based on a win-loss record advance to the knockout stage of the 2024 World Championship.
