The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a slow start to another season under Zac Taylor, but the team was able to pull out a win over the Carolina Panthers last week.
The team had some bright spots in the game as well with rookie offensive tackle Amarius Mims making his first career start.
Mims officially stepped in for Trent Brown after Brown went down for the season against the Chiefs, and the rookie has been excellent.
NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger was incredibly impressed with Mims in his first start against the Panthers and broke down his performance.
“A lot of good things to build on include a great, consistent start. His length is ridiculous. The more he sees, the better he gets.
The rookie right tackle shut down pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney and didn’t allow a single sack to Joe Burrow.
Cincinnati has worked over the past few seasons to build a strong offensive line for Burrow, and Mims seems to fit the mold perfectly so far.
The rookie tackle will be a huge test against the Ravens in his first taste of AFC North football.
