The city of Detroit is not playing around.
While on the “St. Brown Podcast” that he hosts with his brother, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, the New Orleans Saints coaching staff threw wideout Equanimeous St. Brown launched a series of barbs at the Motor City.
“Detroit — no one’s going there, I promise you that… I think a lot of people outside of Detroit would agree with me,” Equanimus St. Brown said. “Like…if they could choose to live anywhere in the world or the country, they wouldn’t choose Detroit.”
Detroit’s official X account responded, noting the city’s growing population and comparing Equanimeous to his brother unfavorably.
Hopefully next year you won’t have to move to another city 🙏🏾 https://t.co/38ANESTZ6I

Equanimeous responded, but Michigan’s largest city had another burn ready, a nod to his presence on three different teams in the past four seasons.
The Lions and Saints don’t play each other this season…but next time Equanimeous St. Brown to play with the Lions, the beef is very likely to continue.
