Someone in New Hampshire is $500,000 richer after winning the lottery big. According to the New Hampshire Lottery, the player purchased the ticket at Market Basket on Milton Road in Rochester. The ticket was for Sunday’s Powerball drawing. Lottery officials said the ticket was initially a $50,000 winner, meaning the ticket matched four numbers and a Powerball number. The player also spent an additional $1 to purchase the Power Play option, which in Sunday’s drawing was 10x, meaning the $50,000 win was multiplied by 10 to arrive at the final prize of $500,000. Someone in New Hampshire is $500,000 richer after winning the lottery big.

According to the New Hampshire Lottery, the player purchased the ticket at Market Basket on Milton Road in Rochester.

The ticket was for Sunday’s Powerball drawing. Lottery officials said the ticket was initially a $50,000 winner, meaning the ticket matched four numbers and a Powerball number. The player also spent an additional $1 to purchase the Power Play option, which in Sunday’s drawing was 10x, meaning the $50,000 win was multiplied by 10 to arrive at the final prize of $500,000.
