Check out Adult Swim’s upcoming animated series, Invincible Fight Girl. Moe Dunford goes a little Westworld in the first trailer for Utopia. Additionally, Lex Luthor feels angry when he looks at what’s to come in Superman & Lois. Spoilers, away!
Victorian psyche
Deadline reports that Margaret Qualley is attached to star in Victorian Psycho, a “psychological horror film” from director Zachary Wigeon (Sanctuary), based on a screenplay by author Virginia Vito and adapted from her upcoming novel. Set in 1858, the story follows an eccentric young governess named Winifred Notty (Qually) who arrives at the remote Gothic mansion known as Ensor House. Winifred’s responsibilities include teaching the children table manners and educating them about their family history, all while concealing her psychopathic tendencies. As Winifred blends into life at Ensor House, staff begin to disappear inexplicably, and the landlords begin to wonder if there’s something wrong with their new nanny.
Utopia
A man searching for his missing wife learns that she has been kidnapped and brainwashed to participate in a Westworld-like fantasy theme park for the idle rich in a trailer utopia.
Invisible Raptor
Meanwhile, a theme park paleontologist must stop the rampage of an unseen dinosaur in the trailer for The Invisible Raptor, a horror/comedy starring Mike Capps, David Shackelford, Caitlin McHugh Stamos, Sandy Martin, Bobby Gilchrist, Richard Riehl, and Sean Astin.
Notably, this is the second monster movie centered around an unseen dinosaur after 1966’s Sound of Horror, which makes the budget-conscious concept work really well!
Tomb Raider
Deadline reports that Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Amazon Tomb Raider series is eyeing either Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner or Bohemian Rhapsody’s Lucy Boynton to play the titular archaeologist/adventurer, with both stars set to audition for the role soon.
Invincible fighting girl
Adult Swim has released a clip from its new action series Invincible Fight Girl, which will premiere on November 2.
Superman and Lois
Finally, Lex Luthor is becoming increasingly unstable in the trailer for “A Regular Guy,” next week’s episode of Superman & Lois.
