Cleveland Browns starting linebacker Jordan Hicks exited the game against the Raiders with an elbow injury. Hicks was injured while trying to make a tackle during the first quarter. Hicks was slow to get up and immediately went to the medical tent for an examination. Hicks went to the locker room shortly after. His return is doubtful.
Browns backup players Devin Bush and Winston Reid replaced Hicks in the game. Bush is a veteran who will help carry the burden for the Browns’ defense. Reed is an undrafted free agent and a special teams prospect.
The Cleveland Browns were bitten by injury early in the season. The Browns’ offensive line was hit hard. They lost starting center Ethan Pocic earlier in the game. The Browns’ defense was not spared. Superstar Myles Garrett is suffering from a series of lower leg injuries. The Browns must be healthy to remain competitive through the rest of the season.
