Double play is a feature that gives players in select positions another chance to match their Powerball numbers in a separate drawing. The Double Play drawing takes place after the regular drawing and has a grand prize of $10 million.
Powerball is held in 45 states, the District of Columbia, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. The Double Play Bonus is available for purchase in 13 lottery jurisdictions, including Pennsylvania and Michigan.
