Let me start by saying like I always do, and I understand you’re going to comment right away about how well your internet works, we overuse that phrase here at Barstool SPORTS, yada yada. I understand, but it’s free comment votes and boosts engagement with this blog anyway if you comment below. Win win!
Cameron Brink is exactly what the title says – a superstar, on and off the field. I looked up her name on Twitter to include a few things about her for those unaware, and sure enough, Casey Smith’s tweet was front and center:
Its meteoric rise over the past few years requires examination. Remember when I made Ohtani speak fluent English trying to tell some jokes as little Risler?
Or when she was the best doubles player in college ball her senior year at Stanford and the Internet took notice?

Brink previously said that one of her life goals was to appear in Sports Illustrated. It looks like that dream has come true, and she will join athletes like Sonny Lee, Gabby Thomas, and Elaine Guo to appear in the 2025 edition. Brink is recovering from a torn ACL and has been getting involved lately much to the chagrin of all the Twitter critics who thought they had a chance with her. Brutal beating of these guys. But between that beautiful engagement in Paris, the Sports Illustrated cover, and the multi-million-dollar New Balance deal, this may just be a Brink’s World and we’re living in it. Go Brink Go.
