Emily Valls has your weather update!
CHICAGO – A light, patchy drizzle will fall Thursday evening, and cloud cover will continue throughout the night. Low temperatures tonight will drop just a few degrees with most areas cooling into the upper 40s.
The weather on Friday will be mild with mostly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the mid 50s. The sun is expected to shine a little brighter on Saturday with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s.
We have a small chance of scattered showers Saturday night into Sunday, but most areas will remain dry. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 60s.
A more active weather pattern is in store for next week. Rain is possible again Monday night into Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 50s on Monday then drop into the 60s on Tuesday.
The cold air will begin to settle in by midweek with highs returning to the 50s on Wednesday and then the 40s on Thursday. We’ll be on the lookout for the possibility of the first snowflakes of the season late next week.
