Dragon Ball: Excitement! Zero developers Bandai Namco Games and Spike Chunsoft appear to be planning some DLC for the fan-favorite fighting game that hasn’t already been announced.
As ComicBook reported, the Steam backend has been updated to indicate a new DLC called the Martial Arts Pack. This is listed on SteamDB alongside already announced bonus content including the Season Pass and Ultimate Edition bonuses, Anime Music Pack 1 and 2, and Upgrade and Pre-Order bundles.
No details about what’s included in the package have been revealed on the SteamDB page, but Reddit user Zeucleio discovered its contents through a companion book released for the game in Japan today, October 10. According to their post, the book contains an additional code that unlocks the game. An in-game martial arts pack, although there has been no official announcement from Bandai Namco Games or Spike Chunsoft.
So the contents of the pack have been revealed, and it includes early unlocks for Bardock, Future Gohan, Future Gohan SSJ, and Bardock’s Z outfit, along with a Super Sparking ability item.
As previously mentioned, neither developer nor publisher Bandai Namco has officially commented on this DLC or whether it will be made available after this companion book.
Dragon Ball: Excitement! Zero launched on October 8 to anyone who pre-ordered (it will launch on October 11) and was a huge hit with Dragon Ball fans, with many expressing appreciation for its obvious love for the series through features like Encyclopaedia Mode.
However, one battle proves to be particularly difficult, as Great Ape Vegeta possesses a desirable combination of random, harsh, and fast attacks that all deal significant damage. Players pull their hair out over the difficulty and mode relatively early in the game’s campaign, though Bandai Namco has stressed that it’s okay to lower the difficulty moving forward.
