Tank Bigsby and Travis Etienne are both expected to play against the Eagles in Philadelphia, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported. Bigsby is listed as questionable to play with an ankle injury while Etienne made the same list with a hamstring injury. Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is also expected to play. The first-round pick has a chest injury, but was able to practice all week on a limited basis. The news is not good for wide receiver Gabe Davis. Rapoport reported that he is out of action due to a shoulder injury.

This year’s Jaguars have one of the worst defenses in the league. They are 32nd in DVOA, 31st in turnover rate, 30th in points per possession against, 29th in points against, yards against, and passing yards per attempt, 27th on fourth down, and 25th on third down.. To say they smell bad would be overstating things. If the “Jaguars Oponent QB” were a person, he would be in the top three in yards, TDs, and passer rating. In fact, it’s even worse than that: They play the Browns, so Deshaun Watson’s ineptitude (186 yards, 0 TDs) eats into their numbers.

Jaguars story to watch: As bad as the Jaguars have been defensively — they’re on pace to allow the second-most yards (382.1) and points (28) per game in franchise history — they’ve been effective offensively. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has cut down on his turnovers (he has five after averaging 20 per season over his first three seasons), and they are averaging 5.8 yards per game, which would be the best mark in franchise history. The biggest problem is their slow starts (only 20 points were scored in the first quarter), which may not hurt them this week since the Eagles are the only team in the NFL that has not scored in the first quarter.

7. Jahan Dotson played 286 offensive snaps and had 35 receiving yards. That’s less than half the number of receiving yards as any other wide receiver who has played at least 250 snaps this year. Patriots rookie Ja’Lynn Polk played 292 snaps and had 78 yards. Dude is having a historically bad season. What the heck is going on? Dotson wasn’t worth the 16th pick in the draft, but he was at least a career receiver during his two years in Washington, averaging 36 yards per game. He doesn’t even have 36 receiving yards all year. He’s been here long enough – since late August – where he’s not the new guy anymore. Dotson is hardworking, and he and Jalen Hurts put in overtime, and when he’s there he gets the other team’s third-best corner kick. There is no reason for the production to be this bad.

The Dallas Cowboys are running back Ezekiel Elliott for at least one week, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer. Elliott was disciplined in Week 9 and did not travel with the team for its contest against the Atlanta Falcons. This shouldn’t have much of an impact on fantasy football as running back Rico Dowdle returns to the Cowboys’ starting lineup. Dowdle was a late scratch on game day last week due to illness. The New York Giants will elevate rookie shortstop Judd McAtmanney from the practice squad to replace injured Greg Joseph on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. It’s a ridiculous development. In Week 2 against Washington, with backup starter Graham Gano on the injury report with a groin issue, the Giants elected not to elevate McAtamney to the active roster in case Gano proved unable to get through the game.
