Week 10 has arrived, and there are a lot of storylines for Fantasy managers to digest. I can’t wait to see how this enrollment period develops.
At quarterback, Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers appear to be back after each had big games in Week 9. But can you trust them in the difficult confrontations in Week 10? Or is Daniel Jones against the Panthers in Germany the better starting option?
Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) is expected to make his 2024 debut in Week 10 at Tampa Bay, but is it safe to start him if he has a limited workload? And what about Carolina’s backfield with Jonathan Brooks (knee) also scheduled to make his debut against the Giants. Do we still trust Chuba Hubbard?
CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) is injured and has a new starting quarterback with Dak Prescott (hamstring) out. Nico Collins (hamstring) and Jameson Williams (suspension) are expected to return. Hopefully, Puka Nakoa doesn’t pull any punches. There is a lot to keep track of at the receiver as always.
For tight ends, Mike Gesicki is set for a big game again with Tee Higgins (quad) out, and Cade Otton becoming a star. But what about guys like Jake Ferguson, Dalton Kincaid, Sam LaPorta and others? Who are the people who deserve trust in the tenth week?
As always, we’ll break down each situation with who to start with and who to avoid. Remember, there are four teams with a bye in Week 10 (Seattle, Green Bay, Cleveland, and Las Vegas), and it’s time to start thinking about the fantasy playoffs.
Every win matters, so every lineup decision is crucial. Let’s get these lists ready for Week 10, and good luck in all your leagues.

The last time we saw Purdy in Week 8 against Dallas he was having one of his best games of the season. He was 18 of 26 passing for 260 yards and a touchdown, and added 56 rushing yards and a touchdown for 28 fantasy points. This is the second time in three games that Purdy has scored at least 28 fantasy points, but he has yet to have consecutive games with more than 20 fantasy points this season. This is changing now.
Purdy is expected to return Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) and Juwan Jennings (hip) for the Week 10 matchup at Tampa Bay, and it’s a dream matchup. The Buccaneers are No. 2 in most fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and Tampa Bay has been lit up recently by Kirk Cousins (42.4 fantasy points in Week 5 and 36.6 points in Week 8), Lamar Jackson (44.4 points in Week 7) and Patrick Mahomes (30.5 points in Week 9).
Now it’s Purdy’s turn, and he has to connect with McCaffrey, Jennings, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle for a big outing. I like Purdy as a top-six quarterback in Week 10, and this should be one of his best performances of the season.

Eagles (in DAL)
The Eagles’ defense is playing well heading into Week 10 in Dallas, and now Philadelphia gets a favorable matchup against the Cooper Rush with Dak Prescott (hamstring) out. In the past four games, the Eagles have allowed 17 or fewer points in each game against Cleveland, the Giants, Cincinnati and Jacksonville with 24 sacks, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries during that span. The Cowboys have allowed nine sacks in the past three games, and the Eagles DST could be the No. 1 unit in Week 10.
Bears (vs. NE)Lions (in HOU)Giants (in CAR)
Saints (vs. ATL)
Saints DST was a huge disappointment in Week 9 in Carolina with one sack, one interception, and 23 points allowed. New Orleans traded standout linebacker Marshon Lattimore to Washington on Tuesday, and the Saints will likely struggle to stop the Falcons in Week 10. Atlanta has scored at least 26 points in five of the past six games, and the Falcons have committed just five turnovers since then. Week 5, with seven sacks allowed during that period. In Week 4 against the Saints, the Falcons scored 26 points with one sack and one interception, but I wouldn’t trust the Saints DST in most leagues in a comeback game.
