This evening and tonight, starting Thursday around 40 degrees. First thing tomorrow morning, some rural areas could see numbers drop into the upper 30s, so some frost is likely, especially in some outlying areas. Then the temperature should rise to near 60 degrees in the afternoon with plenty of sunshine expected again as we are still relying on the influence of high pressure through the end of the week and into the start of the weekend, and we will continue to do so. Stay dry throughout today. Saturday, with a slight increase in the chance of passing showers on Sunday. Hurricane Milton has maximum sustained winds around the eyewall of 145, a Category 4 hurricane, now moving northeast at 17 mph. on. 160 miles or so off the west coast of Florida. It is still expected to make landfall later this evening and overnight across the Florida Peninsula late tonight and around noon tomorrow. Then he moved out to sea and moved very quickly over the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. But not much has changed in the path or timing of the landing, which will come later tonight. 64 here at home. This afternoon. Lots of sunshine, cool and comfortable afternoons. Clear skies tonight, 40 degrees. Some unstable frost is possible in remote areas. More rural then sunshine and temperatures in the upper 60s. On Friday, after 60 degrees tomorrow, and Saturday near 70 degrees, there is a chance for isolated showers on Sunday and then a nice cool down.
