The Golden State Warriors conclude their preseason program with a matchup on Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. The game will be played at 7:30 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on ESPN 2.
Previously with the Warriors:
Friday’s match will be the second confrontation between the Warriors and Lakers in the pre-season, after Golden State defeated them on Tuesday with a score of 111-97. Andrew Wiggins made his preseason debut playing as a shooting guard alongside fellow rookies Stephen Curry, Jonathan Kuminga, Draymond Green and Trace Jackson-Davis. He scored 11 points on 3-of-9 shooting from the field and was 0-of-3 from the three-point line.
Although their shooting will need to improve to make this lineup successful, the height, athleticism and fast pace at which they play gives room for optimism. After the game, coach Steve Kerr said he was happy with the way the starting unit performed, specifically the duo of Wiggins and Kuminga.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr says he thinks tonight’s starting lineup looks good.
“The key is JK and Wiggs running the floor. It puts a lot of pressure on teams,” he added.

What to watch tonight:
This final game of the preseason will be considered a “dress dress” for the Warriors’ regular season. Everyone on the team including guards Brandin Podzemski and Dean Anthony Melton — who both missed Tuesday’s game with a broken nose and back pain, respectively — is available for tonight’s game.

Meanwhile, Lakers star LeBron James missed the team’s game Thursday night, and is expected to miss tonight’s game as well.
The biggest thing to watch on Friday night is Kerr’s rotation. He recently explained the worst part of having too many good players, so tonight should be the first real glimpse of what Golden State’s 10-man rotation will look like to start the regular season.
Enjoy Dub Nation. Go warriors!
