The Bears looked like they were going to be one of the league’s biggest upsets this season. However, after winning four of their first six games this season, the team lost each of their last three games. The offense was incredibly disappointing during that stretch, not scoring more than 15 points during the skid, which prompted Chicago to fire its offensive coordinator. The hope is, with a fresh mind on the sideline, the Bears can revitalize their offense led by rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and get back into the playoff race. If they can’t figure things out quickly, this will be another long season for the Bears.
The Packers are coming off their bye week, hoping to get back on a winning track. The team went on a four-game winning streak, knocking off strong playoff contenders such as the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals. However, a disappointing loss to the Detroit Lions two weeks ago, at home, has put some doubt within the ownership group as to whether this team is ready to make the playoffs. However, with a week off to recover, expect Green Bay to come out strong against their old rival.
The Packers are in third place in the NFC North, two games out of first place, and hold the final Wild Card spot. The Bears, two games behind the Packers, are in last place in the division.
Green Bay is 107-95-6 against Chicago, having not lost to the Bears in nearly four years.
Optional: Packers win 24-17
