The highly anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show officially returned last night after a hiatus that began in 2018 due to low ratings. Fans of the original show were excited about the return of some of the most popular models, as well as new faces who have been making an impact in recent years.
The show was held in New York City with many celebrities in attendance, including Cardi B, Madison Bailey, Dylan Sprouse, Olivia Culpo, and more.
The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show saw the return of former angels like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Taylor Hill, and none other than Tyra Banks, who closed the show.

However, viewers have been wondering about one of the most popular Angels of the 2000s. Gisele Bündchen, who was also one of the brand’s official models, did not return to the show despite walking in the Victoria’s Secret show from 1999 to 2006.

“I never said I would retire, just that I wouldn’t work on runways anymore,” she said in an interview with O Globo. She added: “I will never stop working. My desire is to continue creating until the day I die. I love the creativity within me, and I want to learn new things.”
Gisele previously spoke about her experience working with Victoria’s Secret. “I love working with them. When I started I was 19. When I turned 27, I kind of felt like there were other things I wanted to do. It was 80 percent of my income when I decided not to sign again with them,” she explained to Refinery29.

“They were always very respectful. They knew I didn’t really enjoy being in a G-string on the runway, so they would always give me a mantle. I could have gone on for maybe another three or five years there, but I felt like when you say no to something,” she told the publication. You’re saying yes to something else.”
