Colorado has made an impressive leap in competing for layoffs in its first year with the Big 12.
The Buffaloes are 6-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play just one year after finishing 4-8 in the Pac-12. Coach Deion Sanders helped turn the program around with the help of Heisman candidates Travis Hunter and Shadeur Sanders.
With four games remaining, the Buffaloes sit in fourth place in the Big 12 Tournament behind BYU, Iowa State and Kansas State.
However, fans will have to wait a week to watch Colorado take the field again. The team bid farewell and play will resume on Saturday, November 9th.
Fortunately for Colorado, the remaining games on its schedule are relatively easy matchups. Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma State loom over the next few weeks, and none of them have a better record than Colorado.
