Christine Harper Goff has found a community with her Detroit Lions teammates — and they sure know how to have a good time.
Kristin, who married Lions quarterback Jared Goff in June, opened up about the relationship she’s formed with other wives and girlfriends within the organization since arriving in the Motor City in 2021 in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
“Everyone is in a unique position because we all come from different places,” Kristin, 31, told Us while promoting her partnership with The Cocktail Collection. “There are some girls from here, but generally girls move to a new city where they don’t know anyone. A lot of us are lucky because there was a fresh start around the time Jared came to the team, so a lot of us were getting to know the city at the same time.
Christine talked about a “really tough” time early in her husband’s tenure with the Lions, when Detroit finished 3-13-1 in his first season as the team’s starting quarterback.
“It was a little hard not to win as much as we are now,” she said.
Last season, the Lions won the NFC North for the team’s first division title since 1993 and advanced all the way to the NFC Championship Game.
The newly installed winning culture has brought more fun off the field as well.
“I think going through all the ups and downs together has brought us closer together,” Kristen explained of her bond with other wives and friends. “We leaned on each other through the tough times and celebrated the good times together.”

And when Christine says celebrate, she really means it.
“For special games, the girls and I will take the party bus,” she said. “Maybe I went to a local bar before the game.”
When the Lions are on the road, the group sometimes gathers for a watch party, like the one Kristin hosted at her house for the Lions’ win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, October 13.
As for her everyday outfits, Kristen said she likes to keep things “a little more basic” than some of the other wives in the league, but she still likes to get creative.
“My favorite thing to do is hunt for vintage pieces,” she revealed. “I love finding vintage black stuff. That’s been really fun for me over the years. I’ll wear it and rewear it or maybe style it differently. Add a twist to it, chop it up, do something fun.”
She added: “I cannot say that I am as creative as other girls.” I don’t even try to keep up with them because they are so adorable.
For Lions game days this season, Kristin partnered with The Cocktail Collection and the new Crown Royal Black Cherry Whiskey Sour — which she even served at her Cowboys game viewing party.

“I feel like when you think about football, you think about having a nice drink with it,” she said. “The cocktail kit makes it so easy.”
Of the aforementioned watch party, Kristin told us it was a “last minute thing.”
“It was actually the easiest thing to get those bottles out,” she recalled. “Everyone can get exactly what they want. It was my first time really experiencing it and all the girls loved it.
