Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 131-127 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night, fans praised veteran LeBron James and first-year coach JJ Redick for leading the team to a 3-0 start.

The Kings fell to 0-2 after losing 117-115 to the Minnesota Timberwolves in their season opener.

In his 22nd season, James finished the night with a triple-double, recording 32 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, shooting 12 of 22 from the field in the win. Anthony Davis recorded his third straight 30-plus point game, contributing 31 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.

On the other hand, Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with a triple-double, scoring 29 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and passing out 10 assists.

The 3-0 start marks the Lakers’ first since the 2010-11 season, when they opened the season with an eight-game winning streak under coach Phil Jackson and NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

Lakers fans are praising Redick’s approach and hands-on coaching style in his first year with the Lakers along with James in his seventh year with the team.
