Pop star Olivia Rodrigo shocked her fans when she fell through a trapdoor onto the stage during her performance.

Rodrigo, 21, was running across the stage when she fell into a hole in the floor at her Guts World Tour stop in Melbourne, Australia, on Monday.

The “Drivers License” singer told the crowd: “Oh my God, that was fun,” before adding: “I’m fine!”

“Sometimes there is a hole in the stage,” Rodrigo added. “decent.”

Rodrigo is no stranger to mishaps on stage. The musician was midway through her song “Love is Embarrassing” during a stop in London on her tour when the black top of her back ripped open.

Rodrigo held the item of clothing in place and continued to sing while a dancer tried to help reshape it.

While she was singing, she commented mid-song, “This is embarrassing!” With a little laughter, the song’s chorus plays, “Oh my God, love— is embarrassing.”

Rodrigo originally gained fame while starring in Disney Channel’s “Bizardvark” and “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.”

The actress went on to release her debut album “SOUR” in 2021. With the release of her single “Drivers License,” Rodrigo became the youngest solo artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100.

She went on to release “deja vu” which charted in the top 10 before hitting number one again with the release of “good 4 u”.

“I’ve always thought of myself as a singer-songwriter who got into acting and really loved it, not as a child actress who says, ‘Oh, I’m going to try to be a pop star now,'” she explained in a statement. 2021 interview with Clash.

Rodrigo released her second album titled Guts in 2023. The album reached number one on the Billboard 200.

The album’s single “Vampire” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and all 12 songs landed in the top 40.

She began touring for the album in February. Rodrigo will continue to perform internationally until July 2025.
