Horizon Forbidden West on PS5 Pro is quite possibly the best game I’ve ever played on any console ever. It’s amazingly good. As a result, it’s one of the first games I recommend, and I’ll be pointing out any sales I see on it between now and ever.

This is the package we’ve been hoping for since it was confirmed that the PS5 Pro comes without a disc drive. You can now get a PS5 Pro+ drive for £794 at Very. This package also saves you around six pounds off the combined menu prices, but it’s a very welcome first package of its kind that we’ve seen.

Having said that, the first price I have to tell you is the best price for the PS5 Pro itself at the moment.
In the US, the best price we could find is just 99 cents off the list price of $699.99. It’s not really a discount at this point, but getting a PS5 Pro for $699 at Walmart remains essentially your best bet, at least for now.
However, people in the UK are enjoying a slight improvement as the EE Store continues its trend of cutting weight on even the latest gaming gear. Right now, people can pick up the PS5 Pro for £695 at the EE store, which represents a full £4.99 discount on the console’s MSRP. A small win, but a win nonetheless. However, we’ve discovered something else for UK shoppers that might be of interest if you’re prepared to wait a few weeks…

Since the PS5 Pro is so new and brand new, you might be wondering what kind of deals I’ll be focusing on here – which is a fair question!
While I don’t necessarily expect to see any discounts on the console itself, I’m a little optimistic about seeing some better value offers on it. I’d really like to see some retailers bundle the drive and vertical stand with the Pro and save some money on the price, for example. These types of packages will still be expensive, of course, but they may be enough to convince people to jump in and get everything they need with one click.
Next to the console itself, on things like PS5 Pro games and PS5 Pro accessories, it’s definitely where we’ll see discounts and deals galore. First-party PlayStation games and flagship games that have been improved over the past couple of years will be dropping in price, so look for discounts on the likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon games, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (and more).
Then we will definitely see discounts on accessories and devices that complement the PS5 Pro as well. Headphones, consoles, SSDs, racing wheels, TVs, monitors, and everything else will be dropping in price, so look for them — we’ll highlight a bunch of them here — throughout the sale.
