This game is key for two teams trying to avoid the bottom of the Mountain West Conference. Two of their three wins combined have come against league opponents, but both San Diego State and Wyoming are below .500 on the year. Offensive struggles are a big reason for this. The Aztecs rank 10th in the Mountain West in total offense (322 yards per game) and scoring offense (20.6 points per game), while the Cowboys are 12th — out of 12 teams — in total offense (242 yards) and 11th in scoring offense. (16.4 ppg). Go under, if you feel so inclined.

Spread: Oregon -4.5 | Will the Beavers cover it? Check out SportsLine’s Week 7 predictions here

This is not a Mountain West game, even though Oregon State is, for all intents and purposes, playing a Mountain West Conference schedule. That will be the case for the Beavers, who won’t have a full conference center until 2026 after the Pac-12 was decimated, then (partially) revived amid the latest round of realignment. Amidst all the uncertainty, the Beavers had a great season. Their only loss so far came to an Oregon team that now ranks third in the country. Otherwise, three of Oregon State’s four wins have come by at least 17 points. The Beavers look to keep things going against a Nevada team that has just one win since August 31.

Spread: Boise State -21 | Will he cover the Broncos? Check out SportsLine’s Week 7 predictions here

Boise State is currently a strong candidate to represent the Group of Five in the College Football Playoff. The Broncos also have a legitimate Heisman Trophy contender in running back Ashton Jeanty, who has 1,031 rushing yards and 16 TDs in just five games. He also has fewer than 100 carries on the year, and his rushing average — currently at 10.9 yards per carry — goes up anytime he touches the ball. Boise State’s only loss this year came on the road, but that was against No. 3 Oregon. Hawaii is still searching for its first win over an FBS team, despite a 2-1 win at home. That loss came by three points to Power Conference foe UCLA.
