Sharks at Ducks (Game 7): Lines, game theme and how to watch

The San Jose Sharks, along with the rest of the NHL, are gearing up for the Frozen Frenzy. It’s a full night of hockey so fans can see every team in the NHL play in about eight hours. For the first time in NHL history, games will start staggered, meaning no two teams will drop pucks at the same time. The Sharks will be in Anaheim to help close out the night.

This is the second meeting in about 10 days between the ducks and sharks. The last time the two teams played was on October 12, when the Ducks beat the Sharks 2-0. Lukas Dostal was excellent, making 30 saves. Vitek Vancic was also good in net, making 28 saves. Dostal is expected to start for the Ducks tonight.

The Ducks game was arguably one of the best games the Sharks have played this season. Hopefully things will get back on track in Anaheim.

According to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now, Thomas Bordeleau, Shaker Mukhamadullin and Marc-Edouard Vlasic did not travel with the team.

I forgot to mention earlier, a very busy day. I just boarded my flight to Los Angeles.

Bordeleau, Makhamdolin and Vlasic did not travel on this road trip. The first two are closer than Vlasic, but don’t expect them to surprise and join the road trip at any time.

So they all went out in…

It also looks like Macklin Celebrini will be out for at least a few more weeks.

As for the Ducks, watch out for Frank Vatrano tonight. He’ll likely get a baby bump in his stats after welcoming a new baby girl into the world.

Frank Vatrano and his wife Rebecca welcomed their second daughter into the world yesterday.
