The latest episode of Saturday Night Live contained a lot of election-related jokes, including a few about celebrities who endorsed Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in the race.
During the “Weekend Update” segment, Heidi Gardner impersonated Reba McEntire as she joined Colin Jost at the table, avoiding naming which candidate she supports.
“Well, isn’t that what everyone wants to know? Who is Bad Bunny supporting? Who will Reba vote for?” Gardner (41 years old) said.

“Well, here’s the thing: Call me Shawn Mendes, because I’m still figuring it out,” the comedian added, referring to Mendes’ recent comments about speculation about his sexuality.
Jost, 42, asked Gardner-McIntyre about being “reluctant” and noted the election would be next week.

“Well, I come from a small town called Macalester, Oklahoma, and we don’t make up our minds quickly,” Gardner replied. “In fact, we have a saying: If you think the milk is spoiled, give it another sip.”
“When I’m on The Voice, I don’t know if the person singing is a Republican or a Democrat,” Gardner joked. “All I care about is that it’s Reba’s team, not Snoop’s Diggity Dogg, Michael Souffle, or the blonde Japanese woman from No Doubt.” .

When asked whether she would vote for Trump, 78, or Harris, 60, Gardner said: “Why can’t they both be president? Like our milk at McAllister — creamy and crunchy.”
“I don’t care if you’re white, purple, gay, black, skinny, fake or stinking natural. If you can sing, you’re Team Reba,” Gardner continued.
“When I was growing up, we didn’t even know what political parties were. We were atheist Methodists,” the comedian added. “Mum was a Republican and dad was Pennywise – I’m a redhead, right? We didn’t have much.

There was no water in our house, so we had to drink Mama’s perfume. Mama worked 59 jobs just to keep us in school, and Daddy only had one job, which was to eat the kids. My mother weighed only 75 pounds, 67 of which were breasts. But I watched her put on her best election clothes and crawl to the polls. “Not because they couldn’t walk, but because their naturally stinking bodies swayed low.”
At the end of the clip, Gardner announced that she would vote on her phone by entering her Social Security number, credit card information and a photo of “red and curly,” while taking a photo under her pants.
Last night’s episode of “SNL” was the show’s final episode before the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday. John Mulaney hosted while Chappelle Rowan was the musical guest.
Countless celebrities have already announced who they support in the race.
