The Adirondack Brewery is bringing two Oktoberfests to Lake George this fall

Fall foliage is approaching peak color in Lake George just in time for the Adirondack Brewery’s annual Oktoberfests. The 13th Annual Lake George Village Oktoberfest will be held Oct. 11-13, Columbus Day weekend, on Canada Street. This is a free, family-friendly event.

The 18th Annual Oktoberfest Charity Gala will be held outside the Adirondack Pub & Brewery, 33 Canada Street, on Saturday, October 19. This is a ticketed event for adults of legal drinking age. A portion of the proceeds from the 2024 Oktoberfest Charity Block Party will benefit the Ben Osborn Memorial Fund.

“Our Oktoberfest events are inspired by Bavarian traditions, but we really wanted to add a local focus to the event,” says John Carr, brewery owner. “These Oktoberfests benefit a non-profit organization each year that helps the community.”

The Village Oktoberfest is held on Canada Street in front of Shepherd Park. Traffic will be diverted from the road between Montcalm and Amherst streets. A large tent has been erected in front of the garden to accommodate the casket garden and a stage with a dance floor where polka bands will perform. More than 40 craft vendors will be set up outside the tent and attendees can participate in games and contests held in the park. There will be carnival rides, yard games and bounce houses down the street.

Village of Lake George Oktoberfest hours are Friday, October 11, 5-10 p.m., Saturday, October 12, noon-10 p.m., and Sunday, October 13, noon-5 p.m.
