Asante Samuel says he would be very happy to see a former NFL All-Pro leave the country if Kamala Harris wins the 2024 presidential election.

Samuel, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, took a few photos of former Pittsburgh Steelers star Le’Veon Bell on social media over the weekend for his firm stance on the election.

“I will leave the country if Kamala Harris wins,” Bell, who has come out as a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, wrote in a Saturday X post.

“Hey, I’m telling you right now, if Trump doesn’t win he’s cheated. If Kamala Harris wins, I’m out, I’m out. Because you’re not really trying to make “America is great again.”

Samuel tried to call Bell’s bluff, suggesting that the former running back should do it

“Do us all a favor and please leave now,” Samuel wrote. “And I will ask you every day, ‘Are you gone yet?’

In response to a user who wanted to help pay for Bell’s ticket, Samuel followed up by suggesting they should start a GoFundMe.

Despite their social media feud, Samuel and Bell never met while in the NFL.

Samuel played from 2003-2013, winning a pair of Super Bowls with the Patriots. The cornerback was named a first-team All-Pro selection in his final year in New England. He also appeared in three consecutive Pro Bowls while with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Bell arrived in the NFL in 2013 and never faced Samuel. Bill began his career with an impressive five-year stint in Pittsburgh where he made three Pro Bowls and two All-Pro teams.

Bell then missed the 2018 season due to a contract dispute with the Steelers. The following year, he signed with the New York Jets, but fell short of expectations. It was cut the following year.

Bell last played in the NFL in 2021, spending time with the Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2022, Bale tried to become a professional boxer. The 32-year-old was reportedly aiming to return to the NFL earlier this year, but did not generate any traction.
