Brittney Dancho, a mother of three, is missing after she reportedly left a “concerning note” before leaving her home earlier this week. Maryland State Police are looking for her. According to local media reports, the Salisbury woman’s phone was last seen on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge near National Harbor, and she may be driving a white 2021 Toyota Camry XSE.
The search for Dancho continues, with local law enforcement and her family urging the public to help locate her. No further details surrounding her warrant and its circumstances have been revealed.
According to reports, Dancho left a message that said: “Tell them I love them – I feed the cat and dog on 9/25.” The police did not confirm the note or its content. Authorities reportedly found her cat abandoned in a national park. One social media user said they knew her, a nurse and mother of three.
One person on Reddit said: “Her car was found in Arlington Forest Park in Virginia… She may have jumped off that bridge or somewhere inside that park.”
Another added: “I’m worried it might be something else entirely. She supposedly had a luggage bag with her when she left her house.”
A third brought claims regarding police powers. “She was divorcing her cop husband. Everything about this case is weird, and they said he’s not a suspect. Maryland State Police have a history of covering up domestic violence, and we’ve had a string of this type of case in Maryland recently. I hope for the best no matter what.” “It happens, but given the circumstances, it’s doubtful that this woman will be found alive, whether she committed suicide or if something worse is going on.”
Police have not confirmed any details yet.
