Chicago Bears’ Jaylon Johnson may have created some beef with Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum.
In an Instagram comment, Johnson wrote on Friday: “I’m like Jayson Tatum at the Olympics, not playing.”

Tatum’s playing time — and lack thereof — in some Team USA games has been an ongoing subplot for the men’s basketball tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
It’s unclear what prompted Johnson to make a joke at Tatum’s expense. Sometimes, dropping a clever spoiler is reason enough in itself.
USA coach Steve Kerr understood little of the Pandora’s box he was opening by doing what he believed was in the best interest of the team in Paris.
Despite the fact that Tatum was coming off winning the 2024 NBA Finals with the Boston Celtics, the Team USA coaching staff determined A rotation that sidelined the five-time All-Star was the right path forward. As a result, he played the second-fewest minutes, trailing only Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton.
The 26-year-old would probably love to discover that the situation has broken containment and is now the butt of jokes outside the NBA.
