Although he may be a veteran in the ring, Damian Priest prides himself on continuing to learn, especially when the lesson comes from a certain member of the WWE Hall of Fame. During a recent appearance on “Casual Conversations with The Classic,” Priest spoke about the guidance he received specifically from The Undertaker, whom he previously mentioned as a childhood favorite. According to the priest, The Undertaker is also an honest man, for which he is very grateful.

“I think my main favorite thing about every piece of advice he gives me is that he’s honest with me, even if it’s something you don’t necessarily want to hear,” Priest said. ‘He won’t exaggerate anything, and I appreciate that because that’s the only way I’m actually going to improve or achieve something else. I don’t need a pat on the back. I don’t need a ‘good job.’ I need a ‘Okay, that’s fine, but “If you’re going to do it this way” or “Think of it this way” or “Be careful about this”.
As for the most important piece of advice Undertaker gave him, Priest pointed out that it’s actually common in the world of professional wrestling. However, hearing it directly from The Undertaker seemed to stun him.

“[The advice] It is basically being yourself; Turn up the volume… “While you’re there, where’s that guy?” Just simplifying things about who I am, how I present myself, and what not to do. You don’t have to beg for the audience’s approval, just be you,” Priest recalled what Undertaker told him.
