– During a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, WWE Superstar Damian Priest discussed getting advice from WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker. Here are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Damian Priest on receiving advice from Undertaker: “I think my main favorite thing about every piece of advice he gives me is that he’s honest with me, even if it’s something you don’t necessarily want to hear. He won’t exaggerate anything, and I appreciate that because that’s the only way.” That I’ll actually improve or achieve something else. I don’t need pats on the back. I don’t need ‘good job, but if you’re going to do it this way’ or ‘think about it this way’ “Be careful about this”.
Regarding Undertaker’s advice to him:[The advice] It is basically being yourself; Turn up the volume… “While you’re there, where’s that guy?” Just simplifying things about who I am, how I present myself, and what not to do. “You don’t have to beg for approval, just be yourself,” Priest recalled Undertaker telling him.
Priest captured the World Heavyweight Title last Monday on WWE Raw after winning a fatal four-way match. He will now face Gunther later.
