Kabuli got 12 kills and two blocks from Leila Parawan, and Annie Scott added nine kills, 15 assists, 10 digs and two blocks in a straight-set win over Kalani in the OIA Division I quarterfinals.
The group scores were 25-19, 25-10, 25-10.
Kalani kept things close in the first set, tying the game at 19 points, but the Hurricanes went on a 6-0 run to close it out, capped by a kill from Scott.
The second and third sets saw the home team take strong control, enjoying a 23-9 lead in the second set thanks to a 10-0 run midway through, and a 16-4 run in the final set, a set the Falcons never found their footing in.
Tihani Vasuamanu led the team with 17 assists and added five kills.
In the first match of the evening, Kahoko defeated 10th-ranked Mililani in three sets, 25-20, 25-18, 25-17, to secure his place in the United States.
The Red Raiders were led by Lamona Luhengwa who posted a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs, and Kingston Offa added six kills and four blocks.
Despite losing in the quarterfinals, the Trojans or Falcons can still qualify for the state tournament with a win in the fifth-place semifinals to be held in Farrington on Monday, October 21.
