To charge the first ether canister, you’ll need to start whittling down the target’s health until about three-quarters of it is dead. At this point, mitigate the damage and drain his health a little more carefully until you notice glowing purple sparks emerging from his body. This indicates that the target is ready to kill.
Depending on the round you’re in, there’s a good chance you’ll have multiple Manglers and Abominatings, so it can be a bit difficult to keep track of which creature is the high-value target.
As in previous rounds, we recommend eliminating the majority of zombies that will appear in the round and then training only the remaining few to avoid triggering a new round.
Note that when you activate the Dark Aether Field Generator, any zombies that wander into the traps will take damage, so be sure to keep that in mind.
When you’re ready, lure the target next to the ether canister and activate the dark ether field generator directly in front of the gas station. Once activated, keep the creature inside the purple-colored trap and kill it as quickly as possible.
Once the high-value target is dead and the trap is over, the ether canister should glow purple. If not, you will need to repeat the previous step and try again.
Return the first ether canister to the SDG Generator
However, if you succeed, start training some zombies, because you don’t want this round to end, since we’re about to pick up an ether canister.
So, once you’re ready, pick up the Aether Canister and return to the SDG Generator in the Dark Aether as quickly as you can, as you’ll only have 1 minute and 30 seconds to return; Otherwise the Dark Aether energy will leak out, and you will need to repeat the previous steps to recharge the canister.
When you reach the Dark Aether, place the device in the SDG Generator to stop the countdown and receive another SMS from Panos, who will tell you to find the final Aether canister with the help of the Strauss Counter.
