“Due to the devastating loss I experienced this week, I have made the decision to postpone the US leg of the Stairway to the Sky Tour,” he shared in an October 19 statement. Post it once everything is done in the next few days. Your tickets remain valid for the new dates. “I love you all and thank you for your understanding.”
The tour was originally scheduled to begin in San Francisco on October 23. Now, Malek plans to take the stage in various cities across the United States starting in January 2025.
Payne died at the age of 31 on October 16 after falling from the balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Argentina. After investigation, his death was ruled a suicide.
Inside Liam Payne’s bond with his former One Direction members
“Liam, I found myself speaking out loud to you, hoping you would hear me. I can’t help but selfishly think that there are so many more conversations we need to have in our lives. “I have never been able to thank you enough for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life.” “When I was missing home as a 17-year-old kid, you were always there with a positive outlook and a reassuring smile and told me that you were my friend and that I was loved,” Malik wrote in an Instagram tribute on October 17.

Malik also noted that Payne was the “most sensible” member of the group, despite being the youngest. As his lengthy statement continued, Malik described Payne as “stubborn” and “opinionated,” recalling the times they disagreed.
Malik concluded his speech by saying, “I will cherish all the memories I hold with you in my heart forever, and there are no words to justify or explain what I feel now except beyond devastation.” “I hope you are well wherever you are right now and that you are at peace and know how much you are loved.”
