Jonathan Brooks, Midfielder, Car: Knee – Out
IMPACT: Chuba Hubbard gets another start. Brooks’ return in Week 9 appears to be the current goal.

Tommy Trimble , TE, Car: Return – Inactive
Impact: Back issue plus he remains in the league’s concussion protocol late in the week. Ja’Tavion Sanders should be in line to start.

Deontay Johnson, WR, CAR: REPS – Active
Impact: He had hamstring problems, and now some other injuries have been dealt with. There are too many question marks to risk starting him in fantasy, even though he would be a good fit.

David Moore, WR, Car: Knee – Active
Impact: Even with Moore playing, Jonathan Mingo would be the best speculative addition this week.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, KC: Team decision – inactive
IMPACT: Although he was eligible to play after being activated from the reserve/non-football illness list on Tuesday, Samaji Perine and Carson Steele will be the ones to back up Kareem Hunt.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, KC: Hamstrings – Active
Impact: The veteran receiver will actually try it this week.

Cooper Kupp, WR, LAR: Ankle – Inactive
Impact: As expected, it will take at least another week until we see a cup. There’s no reason to risk sending it back until it’s 100% ready.

Jordan Whittington, WR, LAR: Shoulder – Active
Impact: He saw double-digit targets in the Rams’ last game with Cobb out.

Zamir White, RB, LV: Groin – Active
Effect: The full Friday practice indicated the Sunday committee of White and Alexander Matteson.

Jacoby Myers, WR, LV: Ankle – Inactive
IMPACT: One member of the trio of Trey Tucker, Tyreke McAllister and DJ Turner may stand out on Sunday. Which one? This is the big unknown.

Matthew Wright, K, SF: Shoulder – OUT/IR
Impact: The 49ers seem to have had more kickers this season than Spinal Tap drummers.

Jake Moody, K, SF: Ankle – out
Impact: Moody is still not ready to return, so Anders Karlsson will try to avoid the ‘injury curse’ this weekend.

Joan Jennings, WR, SF: Hip – OUT
Impact: No training this week makes it unlikely he will be able to play, plus…

Ricky Pearsall, WR, SF: Chest – Active
Impact: … Pearsall appears to have recovered enough from his well-publicized injuries to make his debut.

Brian Robinson Jr., RB, WAS: Knee – Active
Impact: Being limited at work all week leaves the door open for Austin Ekeler to have a strong Sunday. However, Robinson will play.

Sunday night game

Tyler Conklin, TE, New York: Hip – Questionable
Impact: He’s expected to be able to start, but all eyes will be on the Jets’ newest member, WR Davante Adams.

Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, PIT: Ankle – OUT
Impact: Jaylen Warren still faces little competition for touches behind Najee Harris.

Roman Wilson, WR, PIT: Hamstring — Questionable
Impact: Limited in practice late in the week, Wilson will likely miss the expected return of QB Russell Wilson.

London match at 9:30 am

Ramondre Stevenson, RB, NE: Foot – Active
IMPACT: All signs were pointing to Stevenson answering the call early Sunday in London.

Javon Baker, WR, NE: Illness – Inactive
Impact: He’s been a healthy scratch for weeks, so this illness certainly hasn’t helped matters. Tyquan Thornton also sits out.

Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jacks: Hamstring – Inactive
Impact: Tank Bigsby and Dirnest Johnson will handle the loads.

Impact: It looks like Evans still isn’t ready to make his 2024 debut, but…

Ray Davis, RB, BUF: Calf – Active
IMPACT: …James Cook (toe) is ready to go and should see the bulk of Buffalo’s right back action.

Nick Chubb, RB, CLE: Knee – activated from IR
Impact: Exactly how many snaps he plays is unknown, but he may see a lot of action since…

Jerome Ford, RB, CLE: Hamstring – out
IMPACT: …Ford will be out for at least Week 7. Pierre Strong Jr. and Dont’a Foreman will handle what Chubb can’t handle.

Nyheim Hines, RB, CLE: Knee – Inactive from PUP list

Dontayvion Wicks, WR, GB: Shoulder – Active
Impact: Weeks was limited in practice all week, but he and Christian Watson (ankle) appear ready to go.

Robert Woods, WR, HOU: FT – OUT

Jonathan Taylor, RB, IND: Ankle – OUT
Impact: Trey Knee (knee) has been removed from the injury report and will start.

Josh Downs, WR, IND: Toe – Active
Impact: He saw limited action late in the week but will play on Sunday.

Alec Pearce, WR, India: Shoulder – Active
IMPACT: After full training began on Friday, it’s no surprise that Pierce will be there on Sunday.

Michael Pittman Jr., WR, IND: Back – Active
IMPACT: Completing Indy’s “questionable WR trio,” Pittman’s lack of practice on Friday left his availability Sunday up in the air, but it appears he will try to play.

Skylar Thompson, QB, MIA: Ribs – Inactive (emergency QB)
IMPACT: Tyler Huntley will start in Week 7, and Tua Tagovailoa will likely be on track to return for Week 8.

Odell Beckham Jr., WR, MIA: Hamstring – Active
Impact: Nothing was caught last week, don’t trust it. Washington’s owner is a slightly better gamble.

Aaron Jones, RB, Maine: Hamstring – Active
IMPACT: Jones will be on the field Sunday, even though the Vikings traded for Cam Akers early in the week. Myles Gaskin is out.

TJ Hockenson, TE, Maine: Knee – out
Effect: There’s still time before the Vikings have to activate it from IR, so it seems wise to be a little patient.

Dallas Goedert, TE, PHI: Hamstring – out
Impact: Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll will try to fill Goedert’s very big shoes.

Kenneth Walker III, RB, SEA: Disease – Active
Impact: It developed on Saturday, but he’s clearly in good enough shape to give it a shot. However, Zach Charbonnet may see some extra touches.

Will Levis, QB, TEN: Shoulder – OUT
Impact: Levis will not play and may miss a number of matches in the future. Mason Rudolph will start in his place.

Tyga Spears, RB, Tenn: Hamstring – out
IMPACT: Tony Pollard takes the call up front, while Julius Chestnut takes scraps.

Trelon Burks, WR, TEN: Knee – OUT/IR
Impact: Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd could potentially score more goals.
